We had a great time here with the pork back-bone stew. It tastes great and not too spicy. The portion is very generous.

The portion is quite huge for small size. Worth it. Taste is good.

The value for money is really worth it given the amount per serving. The gamjatang is very soft and delicious with lots of meat and toppings.

A Local Favorite for Gamjatang! We ordered a small-size Gamjatang for our group of three, and it was perfect. The meat was tender, and the soup was well-seasoned and light, making it very appetizing. We were particularly impressed with the kimchi and steamed eggs. The kimchi was the second-best we had during our 6-day visit to Seoul. If you're looking for a place with authentic flavors and a welcoming but not too crowded atmosphere in Myeongdong, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Kongppyeo Sutppyeo Gamjatang, located in famous Myeongdong, offers a cozy dining experience with a focus on traditional Korean dishes. Their menu features items like gamjatang (pork backbone stew) and various BBQ options. The restaurant stretches across several floors depending on what you fancy most. Friendly service. Atmosphere is not great nor fancy but if you want to try authentic Korean cuisine in Seoul, it is a good spot.

Nothing beats a warm bowl of backbone soup on a rainy day in Seoul! Cozy, hearty and nice view from the second floor!

My favourite place to enjoy a typical Korean BBQ with a full set of side dishes. On top of the grill, i would suggest the bone meat hangover soup which is served with a portion of rice. Since the restaurant is found on the first floor, watch out your steps on the small stairs after some soju! :-)

Food here is good. Service also not bad; staffs are friendly and helpful, speak simple English. Order is placed via a tablet in the table; available in multi-language. However English translation isn’t exactly accurate and some menu are rather confusing.
